The team finished second in the 2009 Constructors' Championship with drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber finishing second and fourth respectively in the Drivers' Championship.
He started out as a driver in the British Formula Three, Formula Two, and Formula 3000 before deciding to go into management.
What made it special was that the win was on a track that has been called Lewis Hamilton territory in terms of car and driver performance.

At 36, Horner was the youngest Team Principal to have won a Formula 1 Constructors' Championship, forging his name in the record books yet again.
According to the Red Bull F1 team boss, that was an unexpected victory, because in theory their car was not suited to the circuit and it was one of the tracks they did not expect to be extremely competitive at.
In 2013 Red Bull Racing won its fourth consecutive F1 Constructors' Championship as Sebastian Vettel won his fourth Drivers' Championship.
